Sponsoring a Young Person in Kumbo, Cameroon

As president of Sustainable Earth Solutions, Inc, Dave Bauer is invited to train 15 youth in the village of Kumbo in Cameroon, Africa. This initiative is part of the Himalayan Institute humanitarian project.

This African Young Adults Environmental Leadership Program helps the village youth address environmental challenges of clean electricity for their homes, water purification, composting, and safe management of human and animal wastes.

Your sponsorship goes to one of the 15 youth in the village of Kumbo that would attend the month-long training. The cost for one youth to attend the two month program is $500.

Youth participants

• Learn creative problem solving strategies
• Design and implement an action plan addressing one of the environmental challenges
• Become "Change Leaders" in the village to assist others in need
• Provide safer living conditions for other in their community
