The Program
Sustainable Earth Solutions, Inc. (SES):
- Founded as a Subchapter S Corporation in 2006 by David Bauer
- Applies the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Model to environmental challenges that require innovative and adaptive thinking
- Helps its clients develop and implement sustainable plans of action
- Progress is measurable
SES seeks to work with all youth organizations (schools, Boys and Girls Clubs, Scouts, church groups, community youth organizations) to empower youth to create novel environmental solutions. We encourage you to see the Research on our Model and Understanding the Process sections.
Our Services
1. The Environmental Youth Summit:
- Formatted as a two-day workshop in which youth design and implement Plans of Action to address environmental challenges they wish to address. Personalized formats available.
2. “Change Leaders”:
- The youth leadership training program in which schools and youth organizations desire to start or improve youth leadership.
- Youth self-assess themselves through an initial “Change Leader” profile and determine the area(s) in leadership function they wish to improve.
- Formats range from one half-day to two-day training programs.
3. “SES Green Biz”:
- For small business owners and their employees
- Utilize the strategies of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) in addressing environmental challenges related to the business’s operations.
- The program builds on the business expertise within the client company and applies the CPS strategies in designing and implementing plans of action that move the business towards a more sustainable operation.
- Analyzes and improves:
- Materials use
- Recycling
- Energy efficiency
- Design and implementation of a "Sustainability Team" within the business
- Healthy worker practices
